Here is a response to a comment I made under a Youtube video. Now remember that this is 2011 and homosexuality has not been listed as a mental illness since at least the DSM III:

@swissguy2 – Why should Harper fund ANY event where some of the participants insist on public displays of sado-masochism and nudity? Homosexuality is a mental illness, not a lifestyle. But in this age of political correctness the truth is not welcome. I hope Harper gets a majority government. At least I will be voting for him. Gay ‘rights?” Just a coded term for “homosexual agenda.”

Stephen Harper has been one of Canada’s most reactionary conservative PM’s. His stand on Gays, encourages yet, more bullying, prejudice and alienation of homosexuals in everyday society. Not only is it not a mental illness or aberration, it is just as much of a GIFT to our society, as hetero sexuality. Stephen Harper supports the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, because of the Irish, (even though I do believe he is not Irish ), as well as other ethnic public events and holidays. It is his deep prejudice, borne from the closed-minded thinking of his family’s limitations which ensures that he has not developed emotionally much past the age of puberty. He also tries, as best he can, to put off a much needed election.
